💻 Information Communications Technician (Level 3) – Apprenticeship

🕓 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30 hours per week)

Summary:

This Information Communications Technician (Level 3) Apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in IT systems and network support, while working towards a nationally recognized qualification. If you are passionate about technology, this role provides the opportunity to work with cutting-edge systems, learn from industry experts, and develop valuable skills in the fast-growing field of information technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain hardware and software systems within the organization

  • Assist in setting up and troubleshooting network connections, including resolving connectivity issues

  • Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving IT-related problems to ensure smooth operation

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSE in Mathematics (Grade A*-C or equivalent) is required

  • Inform the company about any additional qualifications or relevant industry experience, as the apprenticeship can be adjusted accordingly

Skills Required:

  • IT Skills: Ability to work with both hardware and software systems, and network infrastructure

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in system installation and issue resolution

  • Analytical & Logical Thinking: Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot IT issues

  • Teamwork: Collaborates effectively with IT teams and other departments to ensure smooth operations
